The launch events were attended by prominent ICT System Integrators and Resellers of Dubai and Abu Dhabi
Earlier this month, Prologix, hosted twin events in Dubai and Abu Dhabi to mark the launch of Zebra Technologies’ new product, WiNG Express. The Dubai event was held at the Emirates Tower Hotel in Dubai on 9th June and the Royal Rose Hotel in Abu Dhabi on the 10th of June. Prologix has partnered a deal with Zebra to distribute its new & exclusive high-performance Wi-Fi solution, and these events marked the entry of WiNG Express into the MEA market.
The events started off with an introduction to Prologix, the premium IT System Integrator and product distributor of the region by the Director Mr. Aditya Sahaya. Stating the company’s recent advancements and innumerable achievements in various sectors, primarily in distribution of wireless, set the tone for the evening.
Mr. Aditya’s presentation was followed by an entertainment segment, where the audiences were mesmerized by a unique magic show.
This was followed by an introduction to Zebra Technologies by Mr. Tariq Hasan, Regional Sales Head for Wireless, Zebra Technologies. He elaborated on the company’s recent acquisitions and its foray into the wireless with the highly competitive model that enables customers with the freedom of enterprise-class WLAN without much hassle.
With this enthused mood of the audience, came the launch of the WiNG Express. “Making Wireless Easy”, was an enriching introduction by Mr. Patrick Groot Nueland, Head of Product Management EMEA at Zebra. He spoke about how WiNG Express is Zebra’s powerful enterprise-class WLAN operating system, wrapped in an easy-to-use and easy-to-understand graphical user interface that makes end-to-end WLAN management ideal for small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs). He spoke about how customers can have enterprise-class WLAN flexibility, with no need for a dedicated IT department to manage things.
The event concluded with an interactive product demo conducted by the Zebra Team during which the air provisioning feature was demonstrated which allows IT staff to setup a WiNG Express WLAN system in a matter of minutes.
Mr. Aditya Sahaya, Director of Prologix said, “Bringing about this cost-effective, competitive model into the market will provide our customers with a high-performance, realistically priced wireless product having a controller-less architecture where one can have multiple access points or simply make use of an Express Manager to further enable advanced features.”
