Canon Middle East, a leader in imaging and printing solutions, will showcase its highly powerful Océ ColorWave 910 printing system, at the 19th edition of Sign & Graphic Imaging Middle East (SGI) to be held in Dubai this month.

Regarded as the fastest wide format color printer available in the market today, producing prints at raw speeds of over 1,000 square meters per hour, Océ ColorWave 910 is an ideal solution for those looking to boost their digital productivity for a wide variety of applications, including point-of-sale and event posters, maps and technical documents. Unlike traditional large format inkjet systems, the Océ ColorWave 910 can maintain maximum productivity regardless of image content, ink coverage or media type.

The potential for signage is huge especially in countries like the UAE which is highly committed to transform its cities into smart cities, which fosters a demand for more exchange of information including digital signage. While the global digital signage market is expected to touch $20.03 billion by 2020, according to a new study by Grand View Research, the UAE digital signage market is pegged to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 23 per cent over the next four years, it is estimated. A noticeable growth in demands from interior décor and digital packaging industries is also causing manufacturers to create newer and better technology.
