DCG TO HOLD INAUGURAL IT TRADE FAIR

DCG (Dubai Computer Group) is scheduled to hold a first-ever two-day Trade Fair at the Grand Excelsior Hotel (Old Dhow Palace) in Dubai on the 14^th and 15^th of May this year. The fair will include 30 reseller exhibitor booths where they will exhibit their range of products and services. DCG expects a large scale attendance from resellers from within Dubai as well as IT traders  from the other Emirates and neighbouring GCC countries.

The Fair is being organized to build up further momentum in the reseller market and as a show of strength of the Dubai based IT reseller community. DCG would also like to see a great deal of networking within the IT community at the event, Shailendra Rughwani, MD, Experts Computers and President, DCG said. “We want to make sure that members understand each other’s’ products and businesses while improving connectivity between our members and eventually expand the scope of business between us,” Shailendra added.

Dubai is widely recognized as the IT Hub in the region and has played a central role in IT exports across the region. The Fair will play a key role in endorsing the fact that the reseller community in Dubai continues to remain vibrant and strong to address the needs of the MEA IT market.

DCG expects a large turnout of IT Business companies to attend the two day show that will also include seminars around Management and key industry topics of relevance to the channel. The event will also include a free health check-up kiosk for attendees and there would be participation from credit insurance companies and the Press as well.
