Kaspersky Lab announces the appointment of Maxim Frolov as Managing Director for META region (Middle East, Turkey and Africa). In this role, Frolov is responsible for developing the business throughout the territory of more than 60 countries. He looks to strengthen the company’s leadership in the region by fortifying partner relationships and promoting new offerings for enterprise and SMB organizations.

We see that there is still a lot to improve in terms of cybersecurity in this fast developing region, so together with our local partners, we will work on making cyberspace safer for users by providing our offerings and raising awareness about cyberthreats”, said Frolov.
Maxim Frolov brought with him vast experience in the IT sector spanning sales, marketing, and primarily distribution. His previous experience includes working in Microsoft Russia as SMB Director responsible for re-shaping the distribution strategy and channel approach to new sales models and cloud solutions. Prior to that, he worked for 10 years at Seagate Technology where he rose from Sales Representative to Managing Director of Russia and the CIS countries.

He is well familiar with Kaspersky Lab’s business as he used to work for the company, besides he has more than 18 years of sales and managerial experience in the field of IT.
