Linksys, a leader in providing home and office Wi-Fi networking solutions, today announced research that shows what Middle East’s connected families valued in their- home Wi-Fi connection with a clear level of priority for performance. Speed, range, and reliability formed the basis for a satisfying Wi-Fi experience while simplicity and non-essential features are meaningless without these attributes.

According to research conducted by Linksys, Wi-Fi issues related to speed, range, and reliability of current wireless home networks were the popular cause of frustration among connected families with more than 50 percent survey participants demanded improvement in these performance elements. This calls for the need to go beyond the realms of traditional wireless routers and range extenders.

Consumers using today’s wireless routers and range extender continue to face problems such as set up, dead zones, multiple network names, derogated Wi-Fi signals, real-time interruption, poor performance, and management of multiple device experiences.

“With the explosion in popularity of smart devices and countless streaming media services, connected families are looking for a networking system that envelopes their home with Wi-Fi, is easy to deploy and provides higher performance throughout the home and at the edge of the network. Whole home Wi-Fi systems are the future of home networking because they provide a more simple way to distribute Wi-Fi around the home to the mass market user,” said Amanullah Khan, Managing Director, Linksys, Middle East, Turkey & Africa, a global leader in networking solutions for the home and business

On Sunday, 19 March, Linksys will be launching a Whole Home Wi-Fi Modular Mesh system, the company’s most innovative technology and a premier product in the Middle East. Linksys and company executives will be discussing and sharing research on the future of home networking

Entering the Whole-Home Wi-Fi market, Linksys will highlight a game-changing Wi-Fi trend that Middle East families will rapidly adopt.
