The initiative is targeting channel partners to support Flash requirements of midsize to large businesses.

NetApp, a leading global storage and data management solutions provider, launched an initiative targeting channel partners to support Flash requirements of midsize to large businesses. By introducing new, very competitive bundles for its All-Flash-FAS (AFF) 8000 Series, NetApp is enabling its partners to target midsize to large businesses that are looking to accelerate workloads without compromising on the way they deploy, manage, and protect data across their environment. The bundles are available to NetApp partners immediately.
The bundles help reduce time-to-market for products and services built on AFF. Channel partners can accelerate their sales cycles and drive revenue as they spend less time configuring and quoting solutions. NetApp launched its All-Flash FAS system in June 2014 to address customers who are looking to combine Flash performance and industry-leading data management.
Graham Porter, Channel Manager Middle East, North Africa & Pakistan, says: “Since the launch mid-2014, we are noticing demand for popular configurations. We are now offering these configurations in a pre-built state so our partners can focus on their core business. The bundles also include full shelves instead of half shelves of solid state drives with flexibility to add more with separate part numbers, making additional configuration and ordering easier. The AFF bundles offer our partners a very attractive value proposition beyond just a price perspective.”
Powered by clustered Data ONTAP and its rich data management functionalities, All-Flash FAS is especially valuable for database workloads and other critical applications that require consistent low-latency performance and for deploying virtual desktop infrastructures. Data ONTAP, the world’s #1 branded storage operating system (Source: IDC Worldwide Quarterly Disk Storage Systems Tracker 2014 Q3, December 2014, “Open Networked Disk Storage Systems revenue”), delivers a unified and scalable data fabric on which customers can build all types of Cloud-enabled, Flash-acceleration, and scale up/scale out-ready storage environments, allowing them to adapt to changing business needs.
