A distributor meet in Dubai in April will mark the start of VSUN’s push in the ME&A region

Vsun, a company that has been engaged in designing, producing and selling mobile phones for over a decade, is set to storm the smartphone market with a full range of ‘cool’ & ‘advanced’ products targeting mainly the youth and upwardly mobile consumers in the Middle East, Africa, Turkey and CIS countries.
“The mid-high to low segments of smartphones are still wide open and there is room for innovative products. Vsun is targeting these segments with a range of products offering unique new features and advanced specifications that will appeal particularly to the burgeoning youth population in the region.  The aspirational value is clearly evident in the designs that are neat and simple, yet chic and elegant.  With the powerful Octa Core Processors and the cool ‘gesture control’ features, we are well on our way to wooing the youth of today to become Brand Ambassadors of our products,” says Swithin D’Silva, Regional Sales Director, Vsun.
“Gitex 2015 presents an ideal platform for Vsun to showcase its range of great smartphones at affordable prices. We have already tied up with a number of distributors across the region and negotiations are on to finalise deals with more distributors,” added D’Silva.
As part of the launch programme, Vsun is bringing distribution partners from across the region for a major meet in Dubai in April. The distribution partners and retailers attending the event are from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, Iran, Kenya, South Africa and several other countries.
In the UAE, Vsun has already tied up with premium electronics retail outlets and hypermarkets, and a major drive is underway to make VSUN products directly available through the retail channels as the brand of choice, since the UAE is the window market for the Middle East & Africa.
As part of the aggressive marketing push, Vsun has opened a large regional head office in Business Bay, Dubai, and a North Africa hub office in Cairo. The company, which has its main head office in Shenzhen, China, boasts a software design house, R&D facilities and multiple manufacturing facilities.
To start with, Vsun is entering the MENA market with 6 powerful and cool smartphones, 3 tablets and a full range of branded leather mobile accessories.
