SMB Networking Solutions Vendor wants channel partners to capitalize on improving business climate in Egypt

TP-LINK Technologies Co Ltd, a leading provider of SOHO and SMB networking products and solutions, has urged its channel partners in Egypt to take advantage of the improving business climate and increasing government and public sector IT spending and grow their business to profitability.
TP-LINK said the company has upped the tempo in Egypt and it is now working with local distributors and channel partners to promote brand awareness and raise the profile of its product offerings.
According to the manufacturer of Wireless, ADSL, Switches, IP Cameras, Powerline Adapters, Print Servers, Media Converters and Network Adapters, the outlook on IT spending is steadily improving with more projects coming online in Egypt.
Roger Gong, Sales Manager, Egypt, TP-LINK Middle East, said the company is cooperating with local distributors and working closely with channel partners in that market to build a win-win business environment for all channel stakeholders.
Gong said to this end, TP-LINK is building a local office and a strong local service and sales team for Egypt. “We have started the process of creating a legal entity and the TP-LINK in-country office for Egypt will be ready soon,” he said. “We are already working with distributors who serve the traditional IT segment and service providers.”
He added that the Egyptian networking and wireless market sector has huge potential and is growing phenomenally something channel partners should take advantage of. “We are witnessing growth from entry-level networking and wireless products to advanced sophisticated offerings for the mid-market and enterprise sector,” he said.
Gong explained that as infrastructure development is driving growth in Egypt, it’s crucial that channel partners take advantage of the opportunities that are emerging as the need for Internet access and Internet connected device is growing rapidly. “Currently, our traditional reseller partners are contributing more in quantities and sales volumes although retailers are also a very active market and have shown huge potential in growing our consumer and SOHO range of products,” Gong added.
He pointed out that to support partners in the country, TP-LINK is planning initiatives for new and high-end product portfolio and these are already set.
“We see most of TP-LINK’s growth in 2015 coming from the growing need to have Internet connected homes and growth in the SMB sector,” he said. “We aim to help partners in making sure that our products supply is stable, reliable quality and offered at reasonable prices. Based on these factors, new products and technical specifications which meet the Egyptian market’s requirements will be what TP-LINK will be bringing to help partners grow their businesses this year,” he added.
