Xiaomi smartphones now in the UAE

TASK FZCO, a Dubai-based firm, announced today that it is bringing Xiaomi’s range of popular smartphones to the UAE. Task FZCO has been appointed as the official distributor of Xiaomi in the MENA region, where it hopes to replicate Xiaomi’s success.

In the UAE, Task FZCO has partnered exclusively with leading telecom operator Etisalat to bring Xiaomi’s smartphones to the market. The products will be available from 449AED for the Redmi 2 Pro, 719AED for the Redmi Note 2, 899AED for the Mi4i, and 1699AED for the Mi Note.

Across Asia, Xiaomi’s smartphones have become a popular choice for users who value quality mobile phones at affordable prices. During a presentation, TASK FZCO cited reasons for why Xiaomi smartphones have become a success story in key markets abroad. These include the popularity of its proprietary Mi User Interface (MIUI), which runs on top of Android and gives users a richer and more engaging experience when using their Mi devices.

All of the Smartphones are 4G devices and come equipped with Dual SIM-card support. The hardware features leading edge components from suppliers including: Qualcomm, Mediatek, Sharp, Sony, Samsung, JDI, Panasonic, Toshiba, and many others.

After the UAE, Task FZCO is set to launch Xiaomi devices in Saudi Arabia towards the end of the month, and further across the region in succeeding months.
