AOC, MMD TEAM UP WITH REDINGTON FOR KSA

MMD, the brand license partner for Philips displays, and AOC, the manufacturer and marketer of AOC range of displays, have announced the signing of a distribution deal with Redington Gulf for Saudi Arabia. Under the accord, Redington Gulf will distribute Philips and AOC range of displays in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

“After spending time reviewing our distribution network and analysing our potential growth markets, we have gone ahead and signed Redington Gulf to promote our range of AOC and Philips displays throughout Saudi Arabia,” explained Vineeth Sebastian, Regionals Sales Director-MEA at MMD and AOC. “We chose to work with Redington Gulf, because we feel our company principles are the same. We have an individual approach to every customer, with responsiveness and flexibility in our day to day operations. It is indeed a great pleasure to work with a company who really want to sell displays that will satisfy customer needs.” Redington’s long presence in Saudi Arabia, understanding of this market and their channel reach and engagement makes this an ideal partnership.

According to Thomas Schade, Vice President EMEA at MMD and AOC, MMD and AOC’s target is to establish long term relationships with customers as well as the company’s distributors. “We were looking for a reputable company who have great contacts and who we could work with on an exclusive basis to strengthen the Philips and AOC display brands within the territory. Hence, after meeting with the Redington Gulf team on a number of occasions, I believe they are the perfect fit,” added Thomas.

As per the distribution pact, Redington Gulf will focus upon industry verticals such as SMB, Corporate and Retail segments, in addition to expanding its channel partner base in Saudi Arabia.
