Axis Communications, the global leader in the network video market, announced the appointment of Meraj Khan as Regional Business Development for Oil & Gas and Critical Infrastructure for Middle East & Africa Prior to joining Axis, Meraj held diverse positions with a rich experience in business development, technical sales, product management, project management and, key account management of integrated Telecom & Security System solutions for Oil & Gas and large infrastructure projects across the Middle East.

In his last assignment, Meraj worked as a Project Management Consultant for SNC Lavalin Inc., a prominent Engineering and Project Management Consultant for Oil & Gas sector. His primary role was to assist major Oil & Gas Companies in the design and engineering of Telecom and Security solutions for various on-shore and off-shore projects across the Middle East. Previously, he worked as a Business Development Manager with L&T Electrical & Automation FZE, a business unit of major EPC giant Larsen & Tubro Ltd., with regional responsibilities for the company’s integrated Telecom & Security System solutions offering for Oil & Gas and mega infrastructure projects in the Middle East and North Africa region.
