Acronis Launches Its First Cloud Data Center in Nigeria

Acronis has announced the availability of a new Acronis Cyber Cloud Data Center in Lagos, Nigeria. Based on a release, the new data center gives service provider partners access to a full range of cyber protection solutions. The opening of the Nigerian data center is part of the Acronis Global/Local Initiative, an effort that includes global management for all data centers, geographic redundancy, control for local partners, and a local disaster recovery site.

According to an official release, Tony Ojobo, President of the Board of Trustee of the ICT Foundation and Former Public Affairs Director of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and a few other industry representatives attended the launch event that took place at the Lagos Oriental Hotel in the city of Lagos.
