AMD releases Radeon PRO Software, which promises to deliver 16percent geomean YoY performance gains overall benchmark workloads besides offering increased application efficiency, reliability, and productivity. The official release claims, “the software is designed to deliver market-leading uptime and stability.” Following are the key features of the software:

• Performance Improvements: Compared to last year’s 20.Q3 Radeon software driver provides marked performance improvements including a 48-percent increase for the Catia viewset and a 12-percent increase for the 3dsmax viewset.
• Additional Remote Workstation Support: With remote visualization solutions, AMD Remote Workstation securely streams workstation graphics. The new driver adds support for Teradici CAS (Cloud Access Software)
• Application Certification: The certification provides enterprise-grade dependability for applications including 3dsMax, Revit, Catia, and SOLIDWORKS
• Viewport Image Boost: This feature scales up the resolution of the model in the viewport area to provide better image fidelity and allow users to make better design decisions
