Epson partners from Middle East, Africa and Turkey attended a two day event in Dubai for the launch of the company’s latest business solutions for the ‘Retail Banking and Auto ID’ industry. More than 70 distributors and resellers attended the event which focused on retail and point of sales products (POS) including the new TM-Intelligent family- the range of on-demand colour label printers.
The new TM family products act as a hub for a hassle-free, tablet-based, point-of-sale (POS) platform. This enables the TM-T88V-iHub and TM-T70-iHub to be used for issuing receipts to customers direct from tablets and other mobile devices, running popular web browsers, as well as controlling other POS peripherals including barcode scanners and cash drawers.
According to Hiromi Taba, President of Epson EMEAR, “Epson’s POS printers have continued to evolve for more than 15 years since they were launched. Today, as the industry standard, TM-T series are sold in practically every country and region around the globe and the new series provides even better speed, high quality graphics and the energy saving design is easier on the environment. Our aim is to help our retail customers tackle large queues and provide quick and efficient customer service.”
At the event, Epson also introduced its partners to the new Epson TM-P range of mobile thermal printers. Users can expand their business capabilities and better meet their customers’ needs with the TM-P20 mobile receipt printing range. These small, light printers are ideal for retail staff, hospitality employees and anyone who needs ticket or receipt printing on the go.
